I grew up in the building trades. My father was a builder and a building inspector, and my mother was mayor of the town where I grew up. By age 30 I had my own construction company handling both residential and commercial projects from breaking ground to final painting.
I have personally built many homes and have worked on many more. Home inspection relies on the art of knowing where to look and what to look for and there’s no better preparation for the job than actually working as a builder.
I am a licensed contractor as well as a licensed real estate broker. I’m also a pilot and hold a commercial driver license. My license as a certified North Carolina home inspector required 120 hours of classroom training and 80 hours of field training in addition to 12 hours of continuing education each year.
I see my role as one of informing the client so as to help them make home ownership decisions they will be happy with.
I am licensed, certified and insured. Trust me to provide a quality, thorough and honest inspection.
I encourage you to do a quick walk-through with me to discuss my process and the property.
I know that the process of buying a home or listing your home can be costly. That’s why I do my best to keep my prices down, and ensure rates are competitive.
I understand that your time is valuable, so I do my best to be flexible, and make appointments whenever it works for you and the homeowner.
I put my customers first. Always. Buying a home is stressful enough as it is – so my goal is to make things as easy as possible.
I use all of the latest tools and equipment to provide you with fully comprehensive home inspections.
